Blue Skies

Now, as I got older, I started to miss the snow. I decided to do sixth grade in Springfield, Vermont and live with my dad on his "Beefalo" farm for a year. After a long discussion with my parents, I figured I was old enough to move out. So I spent seventh through twelfth grade at two different prep schools in New Hampshire. The first is an all-boys independent boarding academy, Cardigan Mountain School, for 7th, 8th and 9th grades. Then I realized girls did not have "cooties" so I changed schools. I graduated from Kimball Union Academy in 1985.

When the graduation celebrations were done, my dad informed me that he left the farming life in Vermont and moved to the up-and-coming city of Charlotte, North Carolina. Well, I thought to myself, I had heard great things about "Carolina Girls" so I chose Catawba College in Salisbury, NC for my university studies.

I married my wife Holly ( a Carolina girl) in 1993, and I'm blessed to be a dad to three great kids. The three are all "growed up" and we all still live near Charlotte. Holly is the greatest blessing in my life. For she showed me the path to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. With His help, this "C" student has written many books and spoken to numerous audiences. I am excited to go where God has put my next steps!
